Relax and Sport

Our guests can use swimming pool in Bardejov during summer, also two swimming pools 
in Bardejov bath resort – one of which is filled with warm water of 28 degrees Celsius. 
Natural lake is in nearby Nizna Polianka – recreational resort Makovica. Moreover, there 
are tennis courts and pond with fishing opportunities in Komarovo. 

There is a rich offering of ski possibilities in the region – located only 4-18 kilometers 
from Bardejov.  Regetovka ski resort has 5 ski tows / also with technical snow/. 2 ski tows 
are in Nizna Polianka - Makovica resort, 2 in Bardejov bath resort, 2 tows are in Krize 
and Stebnicka Huta as well.Good conditions for cross-country skiing can be found in Bardejov 
bath resort and Regetovka.

Mineral water has outstanding medical effects on human body and people with cardiology, 
digestion, oncology, expiratory, kidney, and urinal problems treat themselves there.  
Resort’s forest park has quiet and peaceful atmosphere that offers walking opportunities, 
and these can have beneficial outcomes on one’s health conditions. Other searched for 
attraction include horseback riding – located only 3 kilometers from our premises.

Bardejov and surrounding

Bardejov has history longer than 760 years with population 33 thousand. Cultural historic 
sites are of high valuable.  The town was awarded with European “Golden medal” for taking 
care of cultural inheritance and preservation of historical landmark in the year 1986. 

One even more important award was achieved in 2000 when the town was filed in the 
Global Inheritance List – UNESCO.  Church - basilica of St. Egidius, gothic – renaissance 
guildhall are one of the most important sites in the region. 

In the whole Bardejov precinct, there are many wooden churches, e.g. the oldest wooden 
church in Slovakia that is only 7 kilometers away in Hervartov village and it was
